What is Coaching?

Find clarity. Cultivate calm. Optimise performance.

Coaching is based on discovery that is action-orientated and future-focussed. It’s a partnership between you and me in a thought provoking and strategic process that will inspire you to maximise your personal and professional potential.

Life Coaching begins with the understanding that we are all born with the ability to be, to do and to have whatever we want in life. We are the architects of our destiny. But many of us, by the time we’re adults, have lost this understanding. The clarity of our vision, our purpose, is clouded by responsibilities, by the expectations of others, and sometimes by the pressure we put on ourselves. You know it; you can feel it, when your life is drifting. When you’re not where you want be, not who you want to be. There’s a thought that keeps repeating: There must be something better than this.

Drawing from positive psychology, neuroscience and mindfulness, coaching will help you activate and pinpoint what you really want in life, and then help you to create a strategy, a plan of action, to take you from where you are to where you want to be to where you’re meant to be, personally or professionally.

Who do I coach?

Individual interested in living a more calm, productive and purposeful life. My clients include business owners, executives, professionals and individuals looking to overcome anxiety, move out of indecision, seek clarity and build a customised future map, based their personal definition of success.

1. Discover

In our first session we work together to discover the areas in your life that you may need help with such as: creating better business and personal relationships, being clearer about priorities, overcoming self-doubt, getting out of exhaustion and overwhelm, better time management and increased productivity. We identify your strengths, reflect on what is working well, and what needs to modified to increase performance and happiness in work and life.


2. Design

Once we’ve establish the areas you’d like to improve, and what it looks like when you’re at your best, we get clear about defining your future life.  We identify very specific outcomes you’d like to achieve. We start designing your personal Future Map, including documenting your goals and pathways to achievement.   Potential obstacles towards achievement are acknowledged, and support strategies are devised.

Your Future Map helps you focus on the small, gradual steps needed to make shifts in your life.

3. Deliver

Once we’ve set out a Future Map, we then create a Habit Plan to support you going forward.  The Habit Plan gives you the support to sustainably integrate change into your day-to-day life.  This is a period of consolidation where you build momentum towards consistent peak performance in your professional and personal life.
